This sculpture was created as a prototype for a commissioned, larger-scale wooden piece. The original was sculpted in clay, a mould was created and it was then cast in Jesmonite, a sustainable resin chosen for its durability and fine detail. The work is inspired by the French artist E. Aubry.

Note: The colour of the sculpture appears lighter in the photographs due to lighting conditions. The images of the sculpture on the marble table and on the bookshelves offer a truer representation of its actual colour.

While this sculpture is sold as shown, the surface finish of future works in Jesmonite can be customised on request, allowing for variations in colour and detail as desired. If you’re interested in commissioning a similar piece in a different shade, please get in touch at info@circulusart.com.
