This elephant head is a preparatory study for a large wooden elephant head sculpture. The initial form was sculpted in clay to explore volume and detail. Once finalised, a mould was created and the piece was cast in Jesmonite.
While this sculpture is sold as shown, the surface finish of future works in Jesmonite can be customised on request, allowing for variations in colour and detail as desired. If you’re interested in commissioning a similar piece in a different shade, please get in touch at info@circulusart.com.
